Brad and his SM Mechanical team Thomas and Clayton, did an excellent job replacing our HVAC system . BRAD responded to our issue in hours and provided a detailed explanation of our HVAC issues and a plan to replace. His team arrived on time and completed the work on time. Their installers were very knowledgeable and professional. They spent time showing me the issues with my old unit and educated me on the new system. We had been told by three other companies that we needed to replace our heat pump and that the cost to repair it would not be worth it. The sales rep from SM Mechanical came out and took a look. He said that most likely they could repair the system instead of replacing it. The owner/tech came out a few days later and within 5 minutes was able to identify a bad breaker switch and replaced it for us. Instead of the $12,000 the other three companies wanted to charge us for a new system SM Mechanical only charged us $385 to replace the part and had diagnosed it, gotten the necessary part and had the system up and running normal again within 2 hours. They know what they are doing when it comes to repairs and whilr they could have been like others and tried to sell us a replacement system, I really appreciate their honesty and effort to repair our system first instead of stealing our money. Sean is really incredible! He was able to get to us super quickly when we were in need both during my pregnancy and after having an infant when our HVAC system was leaking! He is very thorough, he speaks in a manner that can be easily understood when speaking of complex systems, and he has your best interest in mind.
