Dishonest FRAUDS!! The audacity to try and con me out of $10k for a new furnace that THEY KNEW I didn’t need is unforgivable. Definitely go elsewhere. They are the worst! I scheduled a Saturday appointment for a routine furnace maintenance. Tyler Ferger the service technician came out, ran a WiFi snake camera up my furnace and said that there looked to be a crack at a welding point on my heat exchanger. He said he needed to go out to his van and send a picture to his manager. I didn’t see a crack when I looked at the camera. He came back in my house and said that it’s cracked and that by Maryland law he has to tag my furnace, shut it off and turn off the gas line. He shut off my furnace but never tagged it or turned off the gas line. I asked him if he conducted a leak check and said that he didn’t after he saw “the crack” on his camera. He gave me a quote to replace the heat exchanger for $6,683 but recommended that I setup an appointment on Monday to have a salesman come out to buy a

PLEASE READ MY UPDATE: MY ISSUE WAS NOT RESOLVED! There are lots of really great HVAC service folks out there... this is not one. Please find a local small business. Before they became Horizon, Level was a good local company. Key word there is "before." I had a terrible experience with a sales person a year ago and then again this spring. Prior to the bad sales experience we had a service agreement for spring servicing of our two AC units. When I received a call to schedule a service in April, i specifically asked the caller if the servicing was included in a prior contract? I will not be doing business with Horizon ever again. She replied that it had already been paid for and was part of our prior contract. Well, I just received a bill for $59 for that servicing. Misunderstanding? When i called and asked to be transferred to billing I was told that they could not transfer me, but someone would call me back.
