When we agreed to have Goss Contracting replace the gutters and downspouts on the rear of our house in March 2023, we were told that it was not an issue if we were not at home. We now regret agreeing to that and will never do it again. Having used Goss previously, we did not think that it would be an issue. Once the heavy summer time storms started In May/June 2023 we started to have water issues. Our landscapers were digging in the shrubs in the gardens and discovered that 3 of the 4 downspouts were not connected to the black corrugated piping that is buried in the ground for the water to flow thru. One downspout they attached a 90 ° elbow to allow water to flow on top of the ground instead of attaching to the corrugated pipe. Water was gushing out all over the ground. We had no choice but to have this resolved immediately as the water situation was getting worse. We paid for these repairs ourselves. We sent an e-mail July 23, 2023 to Goss to make them aware.
