Dead River Company

I have been with Dead River for 4 years and have had great experience. I have been in my middle upper 20's as a female and they are not ones to take advantage of you to get more money. My first year with them bill wise was tricky cause I couldn't do monthly payments so winters were harsh. But I'm happy after a year they let you pay monthly, that is a life saver. I have had them come to my house a few times to do a cleaning or figure out what was wrong with my heat not going up. They do a great job finding a solution and are not in it for the money. I recently called cause my heat was not going up as I asked it to. The lady I talked to was very nice and sweet! She gave me multiple ideas of what to do before sending someone over and charging me 150 an hour. Simply what the problem was is my temperature unit needed batteries and the switch needed to be changed from oil to propane. So she saved me the hassle of waiting for them to come and having to pay them loads just to find that little

We were very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of both techs that serviced our boiler and thermostat issue.

They refuse to share prices online, average 40 cents more per gallon than their competition, and will only service boilers that have a prepaid service contract if oil is purchased frim them. For the icing on the cake, they will not prorate a refund for unused service contract. Whoever answered the phone was a bit condescending. Would not recommend. Hollis service area.
