I went to several places to find a particular replacement stem and I was striking out all over Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas. Godwin was my last stop. Even when the first stem Colton found online didn't work, he didn't quit! He consulted with a colleague and ordered a different one which happened to be the one that worked! These guys will do whatever it takes to help you! From now on, Godwin will be my first stop!

Dillon from Godwin came out to replace a leaking shut-off valve, some piping, and to install a frost-free outdoor spigot in my older home built in 1885. Scheduling online with Kathy in the office was quick and convenient; Dillon was prompt, courteous, professional, and did a great job in the freezing rain without a complaint. The pricing was less than expected, and I am extremely pleased with the service. Called Godwin to report a leak on the pipe on my water meter. Talked with Ty in the service dept., and he thouroghly explained what was involved, plus, he basically took over with calling the city to arrange water shut off, etc. In the end, he told me a fix that i could do before he made the calls, and, it worked! So, no city charge and no charge from Godwin. It was like having your best friend talking you thru the repair!
