$400 to come out on a Saturday when I lost half the power in my house! Stayed less than 20 minutes and told me the problem was at the meter and was DTE's problem and left. Still charged me $200 an hour with a two hour minimum. Electrician saw I was a disabled senior using a walker! Service: Electrical wiring repair

Had what appeared to be an emergency / fire risk issue on Mother's Day - outlet throwing off sparks. Called a couple other electricians and they said "eh, we can maybe come Tuesday." Don answered the phone when I called, told me the rates (due to Mother's Day) very transparently before I made the decision. He was here in 20 minutes, found the problem, fixed it timely and quickly. Charged my in-laws $400 to put in a plug outside. Charged $90 to come out. Left because it was hot said to call back when it was cooler. Charged another $90 to come back when it was his choice to leave the first time then sat in a chair rocking while he had a young kid do the work. Most expensive plug I ever heard of.
