Received a reminder of my pending plumbing appointment a day in advance from McQuade. The plumber, John, called me the day of appointment as a notification that he was on his way in 20 minutes. John showed on time as promised, went right to work. The work request was twofold. First replace my 10-year-old water heater with a high-end State Pro brand 40gal water heater. Second installation of a new SpringWell UV water purification system with a bypass. The water heater was installed, and the old water heater removed. John gave me enough time to paint the small wall area directly behind the water heater that could not be reached until the old water heart was removed. After completing the new installation John took the time to educated me on the new heater does and don't plus how to set up the water temperature. Also discussing the possible issue and solutions of the electrode as related to well water. The State Pro is a robust and efficient gas water heater recommended by John. Very happy

Our 50 year old pool boiler wouldn’t hold a pilot light. Barry fixed us up and adjusted things to get us up and rolling again. Extremely professional, worked with purpose, very friendly, great price, I highly recommend them! Thanks again!

Let me lead off with this. This review is not a reflection on Ben McQuade he did a good job and made excellent suggestions and the reason my rating is 2 stars. Overall, I was unhappy with the scheduling, extra fees, and additional visits. I booked a maintenance appointment for a tankless water heater, throwing an error indicating it needed a pro level cleaning/maintenance. Ben was sent but for some reason was not equipped to perform the work I specifically requested. He offered to do a cursory cleaning for $89 plus service call ($170+) then he would return to complete the cleaning. I asked if the $89 cleaning would be credited on the full cleaning it would not. Unfortunately, I needed a heater that would run more than 6 minutes at a time, I did the "pre-cleaning" and decreased the water temp as Ben suggested.
