I've been dealing with this company for over 10 years. Business has changed hands from father to son. My system is only 3 years old and still under parts warranty. I've been trying to get Townsend to repair it for a month. They ordered the wrong parts the first time and said they would reorder the correct part. When I call for an update, the office won't return my calls. The installer is the only one who will call me and he's just a subcontractor so has no control over orders, etc. If you are going to have a system installed by them, you'd better have a back up system because they have no interest in customer relations. You will be sitting for a month without ac like I am now.

I recently had a new system installed in my home by Townsend Heating and Cooling.. Due to a mix up, the wrong system was installed. I notified Townsend of the mistake and they agreed to install the correct system at their expense. I am sure it wasn’t profitable, but it was invaluable as an example of the integrity and professionalism of Townsend honoring their contracts. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing heating and cooling services.

I recently purchased an AC and furnace from Lowe's. A big reason we use the store is that they verify their contractors by holding them to fairly high standards, but further, if the customer isn't happy the store will take responsibility for the work. However, when it comes to Townsend Heating & Cooling, I couldn't be happier. Their workmanship is impeccable and their employees outstanding (everyone should be so lucky as to have Bryan and Pat in their home). It will be my pleasure to recommend Townsend for years to come to family and friends alike. Their techs were intelligent, polite and extremely courteous when it came to any questions I had during the work. Now that I know about Townsend, there really is no need to call anyone else and I strongly advise that if you need your HVAC updated, inspected, repaired or simply have its yearly maintenance performed that you would call them immediately as no one else is even half as good.
