I am a 72 year old man living in Mansfield I contacted Truitt for an estimate and Cody Witherspoon came to the house I told him I needed estimate to remove old lumber decking and replace it with new lumber he gave me an estimate for the house and carport to replace to old decking which was a good estimate lower than 3 other companies which toild me that replacing those old boards with dry rot would be no problem, When the mexicans were finished with the work I went out to inspect to find that they hadn't replaced the old dry rotted boards and asked Jacinto why they hadn't, He told me that he called the owner of Truitt to let him know they needed replacing so The owner told Jacinto to just put plywood decking on top of them and call it good which he did. I confronted the owner of Truitt and he told me that the structure was not strong enough to support the shingles . Then why put plywood over it and new roof if structure wasn't strong enough. Truitt’s Roofing is a very professional company. They went above and beyond our expectations. They were always prompt and courteous. The care to detail was evident. Their crew removed the old roofing and put on the new in one day! Picked up all trash and nails. Great work ethic. You will not be disappointed!!!

We had a very weird experience with Truitt's. We've had some dampness on the ceiling and suspected a roof leak. They were able to come out quickly, and told us that we had extensive wind and hail damage and would need a whole new roof. So we filed a claim and had our insurance adjuster out. Adjuster thinks the roof is in good condition and looks newer than it actually is! This time the guy from Truitt's apparently had trouble identifying any specific storm damage on the roof and suggested that perhaps a nail had popped out but could be fixed with caulk (never looked in the attic on either visit to pinpoint it though). We know there's SOME problem, we would like to have it fixed and are happy to pay for it, but it seems very odd that the solution is either caulk or a whole new roof, nothing in between. We were not presented with any other options. I am skeptical of Truitt's actual expertise, or at least, they don't seem to have interest in doing any smaller jobs. I'd advise others to pr
