Note that Harster is under new ownership and now called Classic Air or something. So we paid $200 to have a pilot light lit and the cover was left off. It went out again and I called to get a bid on a new water heater and I had the nerve to ask what the difference was between an electric water heater and a gas water heater and received the snide response 'one runs on electric, one runs on gas'. Then he had me send him photos. We never received an estimate. Happily, Hoffman Brothers was glad to hear from us and gave a good estimate and had person out the next business day. We're happy with the work they did. To show I'm a fair fella, I'm now going to write a glowing review for Hoffman Brothers!
I would like to thank Ryan for his superb attention to detail with an expedited solution for three failing HVAC units within my home. Ryan consistently provided support and information until the project was completed and followed up to ensure the installation was to my satisfaction. 7pm on a Thursday. 1 capacitor and one 60 Amp fuse for the outside condenser unit. About 15 minutes on site. $599. Sound reasonable? Harster who had been good to us in the past, is now Classic Aire. Say what you want about justifying that cost, no consumer can feel that they got a fair deal with figures like that.
