Sparrow & Sons Plumbing

Recent interaction with Sparrow and Sons was a total waste of time and money. Asked them to put in a new kitchen faucet. First serviceman came out and looked over the situation. After much wrangling with the company, I finally got the specs and bought the correct faucet at Lowes. When the second serviceman came out to install it, he tells me that he can't do it because I have mobile home plumbing! His advice: Just let it leak. So I had to return faucet to Lowes and got absolutely nothing. Why didn't the first serviceman tell me that Sparrow Co. doesn't do plumbing in mobile homes?? I paid $95 for the first visit, but then they had the nerve to bill for the second visit. Only because the receptionist was very nice, do I give them one star.

Sparrow was scheduled for between 2 and 4. At 4 I got a call that they were running late that they would be another hour or so. Since I had other plans, I asked to reschedule. Michael Sparrow told me if I did not let them come that day, it would be a week or more. I told this was unacceptable saying it was their fault I had used them many times and they should come the next day. Michael was rather belligerent even claiming they had a good rep in the area and inviting me to go elsewhere which I finally did.

Edit to add: after a lot of back and forth, it was discovered that the consultation decisions were not communicated to the office or sent on to the warehouse, which is why the first faucet was nothing like what I asked for. After texting Mr. Sparrow directly, a suitable replacement faucet was found and installed. I recommend trying to get in touch with Mr. Sparrow directly as he worked to get everything right. The other people seemed less interested in what I wanted and more in just getting a job done. Not only did it take 2 weeks from consultation(which they were late for) to scheduling the install of my kitchen faucet, they didn't confirm with me the choice of faucet. It took a week to get someone scheduled to come in, then he didn't show up to work on the day. Had to reschedule for another day, their office scheduled for a time I wasn't available despite me confirming over the phone a different time.
