We called Bud Matthews to remove our old junky kitchen faucet and install a nice new one. Scott, their plumber did a great job! He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer our questions. Bud Matthews plumber came to replace our water heater. At first they quoted us 3x the cost of a new water heater which we purchased on our own. The plumber cut a notch in our floor joist and nicked the electrical wire. Then proceeded to use only electrical tape for the electrical connections instead of wire nuts. Moreover, he lied about the notch to his supervisors. We lost hot water less than 2 weeks later and the faulty connection was discovered by another plumbing service. When I brought this to the attention of Bud Matthews, I received a phone call apologizing and offering to reimburse us for the cost of the repair service as well as refunding the original labor to replace the water heater. That was 5 weeks ago. The check has yet to arrive. The mail might have been busy over the holidays, but not this slow. We contacted them two weeks after our initial conversation and have not received a reply. TLDR: Unprofessional and doesn’t follow through. Don’t bother. Services: Water heater
