Never again. I had a tree fall down and scrape the edge of my roof on December 31st. The good- Called Baker Roofing and a crew rescheduled their holiday time with their families and came out to inspect damage and tarp it (another storm was coming). Given all that, I was determined to give them my business going forward. They came back and fixed the roof. According to them, there was no damage to the decking, just some shingles. I chose to have an entire run of shingles replaced rather than just a damaged spot to ensure surface integrity. Everything seemed to be fine. A year to the date passes (and the end of warranty), I hired another company to redo my entire roof. They pull shingles and the entire decking has rotted out and has to be replaced. Emailed Baker Roofing to complain. Was told that it’s strange that the repair would be done that way since they normally wouldn’t recommend it. What? We had 12 windows replaced by Baker Roofing. A great job and handled expertly by the salesman Rob, site manager Pete and his crew. I met with David Frawley on Sept 8th to discuss a roof installation. He was very helpful in helping me to proceed with the project. He explained in detail the process, pricing and selection of a color for the roof. The project manager, Clint confirmed the date the weekend prior to the installation and the shingles were delivered the morning of the project. The installation crew arrived on the morning of Sept 20th and worked diligently to get the job done. It took them one and a half days to complete the job day. The crew was very professional, courteous, and respectful. They also did an excellent job cleaning up. Clint did a nice job supervising the crew; however, I think that he could have been a little more communicative in letting me know time frames, such as the delivery of the shingles, which arrived at 6:15 in the morning and the crew who arrived a day later than planned to complete the job.
