Coastal Temp installed a new HVAC system and I am extremely happy with their customer service and also the price of the unit. Chris and his team installed the system without any issues. We experienced a problem when a new Generac generator was installed (not by Coastal Temp) and created a power surge that blew out a circuit board on the air handler unit. Chris and his team were out of town, but arranged to have a tech come over and install a new circuit board so we would have heat. We also had two surge protectors installed on the air handler and outside unit to prevent future surges and Chris researched the protectors and was able to save us some money. Overall I couldn't be happier with Coastal Temp and Chris and his team. I highly recommend using them for your heating/air conditioning needs. My AC broke down and needed replacement just 4 days before I was expecting house guests. The company that usually serviced my system said they couldn’t help me for weeks to come, despite the urgency of my situation and the years of my having been a loyal customer. Desperate, I started asking around and was referred by another satisfied customer to Chris Dicksey, the owner of Coastal Temp, who was very understanding and literally came to the rescue! He had us up and running in time for our guests’ arrival and, needless to say, provided service that was prompt, expert and extremely courteous. Kudos to Chris and the Coastal Temp staff! I blew an A/C fuse when switching the thermostat and the A/C died. Chris was able to come over the same day and do the repair. The same day!!!! I have used their services before and will continue to do so; a great local business!
