Remodeling by Erik

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had an absolutely horrible remodel experience with Eriks company. I have done several renovations in Wilmington and in other states and Eriks was a nightmare. The contract said the completion date was 5 weeks and it turned into 8 months. I lost 6 months of rental income. This was a 550 sqft condo. The only work done in the first 3 months was 4 hours to frame the bathroom walls and two closets. The antique heart pine floors began peeling 3 weeks after they finished them. Erik charged me for 37 feet of exposed duct work and they only installed 8 ft.They did a very sloppy job painting, staining, and dry walling. He charged me $900 to install 4 apartment size appliances. The washer and drier were never installed. And the other three appliances were installed incorrectly and didn't function properly. The list is so long I won't bore you but when I brought up all the problems with Eriks company they refused to correct the most serious issues. They were egregiously

I have used the services of Remodeling by Erik off and on for over a dozen years, probably. Every single repair or remodeling he has done for me has been done in the time frame scheduled and the work has been done well and by people I have felt comfortable having in or around my house. I usually hesitate to use the word "perfection," but in this case I can say there is no reason not to say that the work on my premises has been done that well and in that timely a manner. I highly recommend this company. Way to go, Erik! I wish you continued success in everything.
