Less than a year ago, AP installed an in-line water filter shown in picture. I bought the filter assembly separate from AP. The plumber Joe installed it with inlet/outlet fittings that don't allow me to remove the filter head. I now need to replace the filter head because the internal bypass valve doesn't work. I wrote to AP about this yesterday through their website asking them if they could come out and update the fittings that will allow me to replace the filter head. I have not heard anything back. The plumber should never have used fittings that don't allow removal of the filter head. Other than that they did a good job.

I know there are some complaint reviews on here, but honestly Advantage Plumbing is the easiest, most fair, and reliable plumber I've ever used. I was kind of upset to see the reviews were from charging a pretty small fee to trouble shoot a leaky pipe to installing homeowner provided equipment. I've worked with Advantage Plumbing for 3 years on several remodeling projects and others I complete as a general contractor. Advantage Plumbing has by a long shot been the most consistently priced (I've gotten other estimates from other plumbers on flips and remodel projects), fair, and diligent in response. They actually do the work. They are a small family run company who cares. If you have an issues, just call and give them more than a day to respond to the issue. They've always backed up my work. And I was originally referred to AP by two other homeowners who loved them. Your experience with owner Mike and company might not be perfect, but they'll make it right and do there best to make it

Under the suggestion of my wife's manager I contacted Advantage Plumbing because the previous plumber I had did install our bathtub / shower but failed to complete the job leaving off the spout and shower head. Joe was very thorough and professional. He explained all that was done incorrectly and made suggestions on to correct them moving forward.
