Ace Handyman Services Bergen County

I needed a handyman to help put some new shutters on the house and fix a shaky back step—and ACE sent someone over that worked around my schedule and within my budget. The handyman contacted me ahead of time to confirm the appointment and arrived right on time. Jim worked fast and efficiently. He made sure the job was done as requested. He explained what he’d be doing to me and went ahead and completed the job on time and with no interruptions. He is clearly skilled and capable at this job. He also took the time to quick look at a leaky shower head. He quickly assessed that it just needed to be tightened and he stopped the leak. It’s a small thing but it was much appreciated. Overall, I’m very pleased with the service provided by ACE and would highly recommend this service to anyone who asked! Jim provided some good advice about future home projects too—so, I’m personally hoping to use this service again. It’s nice to have someone local who can help when you need that extra set of hand

What do you get for paying a grand+ for a day ? Not much more than paying half or third of that. The guy who came was super nice and tried his best to do the work. So I am not going to hold him accountable. But the ACE business practice is seriously flawed when you charge a grand a day but don't let the handyman check out the job few days before hand and come prepared with material and tools needed. We ended up with patchy jobs and poor guy spending couple of hours at hardware center trying to figure how to solve things and whats needed. A very expensive lesson learned. Unless you need light bulbs changed etc, look elsewhere. Service: Home maintenance & repairs

Had a tricky kitchen cabinet/pull out spice rack where the rails had come unlevel - Jim was able to solve my problem quickly and then helped out with a couple of other minor repairs. The service was quick to respond to my outreach and were able to schedule me quickly. Would absolutely use them again for handyman services. Service: General repairs
