I needed a new electrical outlet on a wall without one, a new light fixture installed and a dimmer switch added to my home. Getting around to these jobs can be tough, not knowing who to turn to. Chris arrived at my house with a friendly smile and well prepared for my tasks. I had been hoping to install an automatic light in my laundry room, and he even solved that problem for me with the installation of an occupancy switch that turns on when I enter the room. Who knew? He worked quickly and efficiently, and left me a very happy homeowner. I would definitely recommend Allied Electric.

I've had Allied Electric do work for us a few times. First, after we bought the house, I had one of their electricians come out and check out the electrical to make sure everything looked okay. He also helped troubleshoot an outlet and worked quickly and efficiently so billing was very reasonable. While there, I had him give an estimate for upgrading our original fuse box to a breaker panel, with a higher amperage service. They quoted a very reasonable price and even though things took a bit longer than they expected and they had to use some more expensive parts because multiple circuits had been tied into individual fuses, they stuck with the original pricing. i recommend them to my friends whenever they need electrical work done and will be having them back out soon!

Wonderful service! I had Allied Electric work on my property 6 months ago- they were fast, friendly and skilled. Fast forward to this summer, when some installers from another company incorrectly installed a range and blew out the power in my entire house. Chris had someone at my house within 2 hours to inspect the damage, turn the power back on, and confirm that it was the installer's negligence that caused the damage. Not only did he offer to reduce my bill if I was not able to get a refund from the installer, he wrote a statement and emailed with the installers on my behalf to help me get a refund from the poor installation. I will never work with another electrician in Reno!
