Star Roofing did an excellent job on our roof and skylight installation. They were quick, clean, and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. Only negative of the experience which is no fault to Star Roofing was that we needed to replace much of the plywood which we didn’t plan for. Received two very competitive bids from Star Roofing and another reputable, recommended firm. I liked the GAF wind rating which was the deciding factor in my decision. Size of job is 42 squares. There are with several intersecting ridge lines at different elevations, and a couple of difficult valleys. Star rep worked with me in developing treatment for intersections that had been a problem in the past. 12 person crew arrived, worked for 12 hours, and completed all strip off, new plywood over a formerly slate shingled area, rotted plywood repair, vented ridge prep, and installation of completely new roofing system except for ridge vents. Site cleaned up before they left. Next day a 3 person crew did final detail work and clean up including thorough sweep of margins of the house with a magnetic device that picked up any metal. The filled 30 yard dumpster was removed at the end of the second day. Highly recommended. Services: Attic venting repairs, Roof inspection, Roof installation

STAR recently completed a roof replacement for us and we are very happy with the end result. We were given a few options for dates to begin, and due to a chimney rebuild we had to push it back a couple weeks and they were very accommodating. My contact at the office gave us a time frame for the crew to arrive on Friday afternoon, and they arrived on time and began working Monday morning as promised. They spent 13 hours removing the old roof and laying down the new one. The next morning we touched base with our office contact who said they would be over later and they arrived around five to finish things up for us. They did their best to clean up in the evening though it had gotten dark, but made sure to come back during the daytime to remove the rest of the debris and clean things up. We have confidence with the extended warranty that we won’t need to have another replacement, but we are happy to have them if there is any storm damage or anything like that.
