24 Hour Emergency Plumbing, Drain Cleaning & Home Repair

My husband and I own a brownstone and while out of the country one of our tenants informed us of a bathtub leak. We wanted to find someone reputable who could take care of it right away and contacted this company based on its great Google reviews. I messaged directly on the website and also via WhatsApp. I explained our situation, making it clear that we are in Africa with very spotty wifi and limited calling abilities and asked if they would be able to assess the leak. The woman quickly responded that I need to call, and when I again explained that I do not have calling capabilities due to lack of data and reliable wifi, she said they only work with people who are in the country. If this is a policy of theirs to prevent scammers or being ripped off, then that’s fine, we were happy to find someone else. But moments after, she accused us of being someone named ‘Dre’ and ‘trying to do something that they shouldn’t be doing’. Highly unprofessional in my mind, and a red flag for anyone loo

Where do I start? Customer service and communication was great. The water heater broke and caused quite a bit of flooding in my basement. Candace was very responsive and came out right away. When it came to replacing the water heater, she kept me up-to-date every step of the way until the job was successfully completed. She is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I used 24 Hour Emergency Plumbing for the first time after two months of issues with my toilet backing up and not flushing correctly. A previous plumber had come the month before, but wasn't very helpful and the same issues came back a few days later. I called 24 Hour Emergency after a holiday weekend and assumed there would be a wait but Candace was ready to send someone right away. Roberto was my tech and he was extremely prompt. In addition to getting the job done quickly, he was thorough and gave me advice on what to look out for, which I really appreciated. He was respectful of my space and wiped everything down. I think he went above and beyond. For future issues, I will definitely return to them for their professionalism and expertise.
