David at HandyNYC and his team were outstanding! From the minute that I contacted them on Thumbtack he was quick to respond and start answering our questions. We bought a very complicated suspension wall unit that was shipped from California. David assured me that he had assembled several of these units in the NYC area and new the exactly every part including what was missing! He and his team arrived on time were so very pleasant, upbeat and informative. We ran into a few snags due to the company not including some parts, but David handled it all with such ease directly with the company and came back to start and finish job once the parts were delivered ...just as scheduled. We are so pleased with the work that he and his team have done that we have now hired him to come back to do some other repairs in our apartment and also install a sound system. I'm very disappointed in the professionalism of this business. They rebuilt our shelving unit and 10 months later it started collapsing. They refused to stand behind their work and fix the problem without an additional cost, claiming it wasn't their fault, even though it was less than a year.
