Khalid and his team are fantastic! They did a roof removal and installation --plus new skylights -all in one day! They came back the next day to make sure everything was up to satisfaction! Don’t count these guys out when you get your estimates. I got proposals from all the big name roofing companies in the area...they all seemed really good tbh. DSS was the last on my list and as soon as Khalid came out and we got talking, I literally knew right away I was going with them. I had certain expectations being a carpenter myself, and honestly I’m the type of customer that some contractors shy away from because I don’t let them cut corners…I just like things done right like anyone else. That being said, Khalid had no problem taking on the job and not only met my expectations, but he identified certain issues the other contractors didn’t catch, and came up with great solutions. They finished the entire job in two days, which included a complete tear off of two layers with cedar shake, a flat EPDM roof in the front, and repairs to the chimney, among other things. Khalid and his team did a great job! We couldn't be more pleased. They were able to accommodate our schedule and then promptly came when they said they could. Even though we had a more involved job since we had the original cedar shakes, they were still able to get the work done quickly. On top of it all they then did a great job cleaning up, were super friendly, and responded quickly to answer all our questions.
