When my A/C (typical PTAC) gave out 2 weeks ago, I contacted 4 repair companies for quotes, and not only was Manhattan HVAC the first to respond (within minutes), their service call fee was also the lowest of the 4. And for once, lower cost didn’t mean inferior. From the initial contact to final servicing, they were extremely responsive and professional; no upselling at all. Even after I indicated I’d probably go with a new unit, I received detailed estimates for both a repair option and the replacement. Jack was the point person, and he kept me updated every step of the way. The technician Nick arrived promptly to both appts (the delay was due to external factors), accompanied by Alex the 2nd time. In less than… maybe 30 mins (?!), they had the old unit out, the new one installed, and my apt. was comfortably cold again in this gross and muggy August heat.
