Called them yesterday for a quick AC install. They called me back quickly and said no problem, price would be $125-$200. I was more than happy with that price. PC Richards charges $200 so I thought I would save some money. Today Benjamin came to install the AC and asked us how much the AC unit cost us. We let him know it was a $300 unit we purchased. Benjamin or Simon DID NOT state it would cost $350 to install until Benjamin was finished and stated it would now be $350. From there we were upset as we could not afford that and would have NEVER used their service if we had know the cost. Lastly there are several screws that are not screwed in. None of the supporting material was used to seal off the holes or secure the unit. Cheers to my first RIP OFF in NYC.
When it comes to handyman needs I only trust Handyman Same Day Upper West Side. They met our demands satisfactorily. Had charged us with a very reasonable price fixing our galvanized gutters and cleaning the downspouts. Ten over ten!
