Right after I accepted the proposal and retainer fee paid, the permit was pulled the next day and someone at my property 317 E 141 street Bronx to start the job. Five Stars! Would like to give a special thanks to owner YT and electrician Ramon for the outstanding service they provided to us during the New Year holiday weekend. Thank you so much. Outstanding work. Fantastic people. Great act of kindness. Over the New Year weekend late at night, we got hit with a double issue. One was an outdated faulty circuit panel and breakers which tripped and the other was the central heater circuit board getting fried causing an electrical fire sending smoke and burning metal smell throughout the house via the air ducts. We called 911 and the firemen shut the main advising to call a licensed electrician to investigate the issue and perform the necessary repair work. Here we are on New Year’s weekend, with no power with our insulin in the fridge desperately trying to keep it cool so it does not go bad. If it did, we would have had a larger issue to deal with. Spoke with this supposed professional and sent a detailed description of electrical assistance that I needed. He was supposed to draw up a proposal specifying each job (categorized) with cost breakdown. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MINDS WOULD ACCEPT AN AMOUNT THAT YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S FOR? He is licensed, but he's not honest and forthcoming. And I don't pay people for services not rendered DUH. Instead he wanted to go on vacation with my deposit. Waste of my time and resources when I could have found honest contractors, I wasted 2 1/2 days or more with him.
