Ricky was extremely professional and offered many good suggestions that I as a layperson would never have thought of. He was prompt and extremely neat, cleaning up thoroughly after himself. I did not feel that any of my questions were stupid as he took the time to explain everything. His prices were excellent. He will be coming back to do more work in the near future. We bought a house in Beacon and it needed a renovation. After a few recommendations and reading his reviews we met with Ricky of Manresa Electric this last March. We hired him giving him a hefty down payment of $10,000. By the last week of April, when it was time to begin, Ricky barely showed up doing little work. An hour or so for a couple times. It was Ricky who promised me an initial inspection by May 14th. He never showed up to perform the work or finish for the inspection he promised. On May 13th, I warned him that I would find someone else. But..again he never showed up to do our work. In response in texts he threatened me for complaining about him not showing up. He said he could legally take up to a year to finish. Three weeks passed with no Ricky. When the May 14th deadline passed and still no Ricky I fired him and hired a responsible electrician. Ricky said he would not return our $10,000 deposit ! I took him to small claims court but he never showed up to that ! We now have

Manresa Electric was a breath of fresh air compared to other companies I called to diagnose and fix a buzzing electric socket. I sent away one electrician who was testy and mask-less and objected to taking off his shoes before entering my house. Ricky Manresa responded to me immediately, although he was on vacation in Florida, and dispatched Mike to my house within an hour. Mike was friendly, courteous, and helpful, and quickly and efficiently diagnosed and fixed the problem. In addition, Ricky promised to follow up with me and investigate another issue when he returns from Florida. This team alleviated my anxiety about the unexpected electrical issues in my new house.
