I don't know if Google provides enough space for me to express how happy I was with my call to York Electrical Contractors. It was already late in the day when we encountered a problem with the electrical in one room. Two out of three room outlets were out and it cut off power to parts of the kitchen and bathroom. No one was seemed to be available or wanted to deal with that during the night. I liked the other reviews here for York so I decided to give it a final try. They answered, and I am grateful. After my son gave them as best an explanation possible of the situation as he could, they explained how the service would work and their availability. They got someone out to me that same night. Dennis and everyone at York are some of the most polite and professional people I have had the pleasure of calling in on a job. We have been searching for a reliable electrician and have found one with York Electrical. We have used York twice over the past 2 months for relatively minor work (Outdoor light install and ceiling fan replacement and install) and am extremely pleased with the all around quality of service. In both cases, they were responsive, professional and reasonably priced. It didn't matter how small of a job, as they treated me with the same quality service regardless of if it was a small or large job. The most recent work was performed by Shawn and Dennis. They had to come twice (first to install new box and second to install fan) to finish the job because I had purchased an incorrect ceiling fan. They honored the original quote and did not charge me for coming back, even though I purchased the wrong fan. Both times they were available either the same day or next day from the day I made the appointment. They arrived on time and were extremely professional. They clearly explained the work th
