Savage installed a tear-off roof along with some gutters for me in late August. The roof seems OK, but the gutters are leaking badly. I have contacted them SEVEN different times (calls, texts, emails, all documented) with no response. Not only is this frustrating (and bad business practice), but I now have zero confidence should I ever need warranty service on the roof. ***And, nearly four weeks later, they still have not cashed the check I personally handed to the owner on the day they finished job. So, I placed a stop payment on the check; hopefully they get in touch with me so I can pay them for the roof at least. Then if they fix the gutters they will get paid for that too.*** Needless to say, I'm very disappointed and can no longer recommend Savage & Son's to anybody. Beware. I can't say enough good things about Savage and Son. It all started in May when I had several estimates to get my house sided along with new windows. When Jordan Layne came to my house he was personable and explained the background of the company as well as what they could do. That when I chose Savage and son and it was the best decision I made. Owner Dan Layne is very professional and he and his crew started promptly at 7 am daily. They were always respectful of property and cleaned up the work site after their day.
