Tim the Handyman

The struggle I find most often with contractors is being able to rely on them, with Tim he has been at my house exactly when he said he would be and he has done an awesome job with communicating with me on how the progress of the work was going. While Tim was here he was extremely polite, he is one of the most respectful people myself or my family has ever met, he took the time to get to know us and was very friendly. The work he did at our family’s house was the best we’ve ever had done, we finally found a contractor that we can call back and feel 100% confident that the work will get done the right way! I would recommend contacting Tim to anyone that I know, he does amazing work!

I hate to add to the negative reviews, but my experience was the same as the other 1 star reviews. Tim was very friendly and seemed ready to get to work. We needed our pantry renovated and it sounded like that would be no problem for him. He took measurements and told us that he would get back to us with an estimate in about a week. I was okay with that. But the estimate never happened. He emailed me back once apologizing and letting me know that he hadn't forgotten about the job, so I allowed more time. Never heard back after that. Last email I got from Tim was in March. None of my emails after that were returned. I was honestly worried something bad might have happened, because he didn't seem like the type to disappear like that. It's really too bad, because he was very likable and appeared to be qualified for the job. My family and I were very excited for him to do the work.

I should have listened to the other recent reviews before wasting my time. Tim came over to do an estimate and it all started off really well. He was on time and seemed really kind and professional. He told me that he writes up his estimates on Sundays and that I should expect to hear from him then. Sunday comes and goes so I email him. He apologizes, says that he will write up the estimate immediately. He sent me the estimate and a few weeks later I contact him saying that I am ready to be put onto his schedule. Unfortunately this is where the problems started. I never heard back from Tim so I tried contacting him. He wasn't replying to emails, he wasn't responding to text messages, he doesn't answer his phone, and his voicemail inbox is always full (which apparently from reading other reviews has been the case for several years). Over a week later he finally responds and says he's unable to do certain work, so I followed up with another email for some clarification and re-iterated th
