Had an appointment September 12th at my house for an estimate but they no call no showed. This was frustrating as I took a day off from work. I didn’t bother to call them back and looked for another painter in the area. First impressions not good for me. Maybe I was just unlucky as others all put great reviews which is why I called them in the first place.
We did not have a good experience with Donigan Painting and I would not recommend this company. We were told it would take 1 week and he was here for 3. When he supposedly finished the job, there were bare/thin areas, areas with wall paint on ceilings and trim, ceiling paint on cabinets and walls, paint on door hardware, touch up with incorrect colors in many rooms and areas. Apparently he ran out of the wall paint and tried to lighten up a darker color in an attempt to match the base coat. It didn't (see photos). He promised to come back and fix the issues, but he was a no show. When asked when he was coming back, he told us he wasn't and essentially gave me the paint colors to do it myself. Shows up between 9 and 10:00 am and leaves between 2 and 3 or 3:30, with a lunch break too. Judge for yourself (see photos). ***** Top Notch painter! Bill's not only professional & a good painter he's reasonably priced, conscientious & a good person too. Our experience with bill was we had recently moved into a home & dealing with a multitude of projects going on. Our timing for getting our painting jobs done was crucial for the timeline of completing our other projects. Several other painters we contacted were either very uncompliant in their response times or too highly priced. BILL NOT ONLY RESPONDED to our 1st phone call but also was able to accomodate us during the week that we needed him! He was able to get all our painting needs accomplished in a very short period of time. And we'll definitely be calling him for all our future painting needs.
