Garfield 1-2323

Herb and his entire team at Garfield 1-2323 did an absolutely OUTSTANDING job on our house! We had a new roof put on, all new siding and gutters installed, and a new fan and venting done in a bathroom. From start to finish, we were so pleased! Herb has been in the business a long time and his experience shows! He offered guidance and cost-saving suggestions without ever being pushy. His work crew were the hardest-working guys we've ever seen---they came early, stayed late, were super polite, and cleaned-up materials at the end of each day. The materials and quality of the work they did was top-notch. We are busy professionals and working with Garfield was seamless and saved us valuable time! Garfield worked within our budget and timeline--finishing ahead of schedule. As soon as our house was finished all of our neighbors ran over and said how great it looked. One morning I was looking out my kitchen window,and I look at the home on the street behind my house. I saw the most beautiful work transforming that home. I hope in my car and drove over to that street to get the number of the company doing the work. It was Garfield 12323. I called them immediately. The next day I receive a call back from Sam. He introduced himself and we made an appointment for him to come out to our home. He listen to what we wanted done to the home,and the color scheme we wanted. I also told him, I wanted to tear out my entire front porch including, gutters and I wanted a deck porch with large poles and also the steps. I wanted wood that I would not have to do a lot of work to. Sam listen, gave a few suggestions and within a few days he returned with lots of different types of samples of colors for the home and composite wood samples for the porch. We remember their commercials from years back so we called for a siding estimate. When we got a call the day of the impending arrival, it was a half hour past his arrival time and he's in Brecksville and I left work early to meet him at the house. For what!!? Sam proceeded to go over the material used, estimate the square footage of our house etc, using Google Earth I assume because he never came out in person. Then he pushed the replacement window scenario before doing the siding. Once we talked it over, we could call back and he would come out to show us what we talked about over the phone. So I need to go through two presentations?! I don't think so. Thanks but we'll go elsewhere.
