Spartan Plumbing & Drain Cleaners

This was our first time using Spartan and we will definitely use them the next time as well. We called in the evening for a clogged shower drain and they were able to get to us first thing the next morning. They would have been able to come out that night if we needed it, but it wasn't an emergency so we didn't feel like the need met the higher cost of coming on demand. They called in the morning to give a 15 minute heads up. Josh was our technician and he was very friendly from the start and introduced himself first thing. The best part was he put on shoe covers without having us ask him. Our son was still sleeping and he was respectful of that and amazingly, managed to not wake him up! He was quick, showed pictures and explained what he saw, told us of the drain cleaning price and special up front and then quickly fixed the issue. Called spartan out first because I thought they were great company. Guy came out and tried to charge me almost $8,000 to changeout water softener and filter because it was causing terrible water flow. Had issues with finance company they use because they make you jump through way more hoops than any other time I’ve ever financed anything. Had a bad gut feeling so I backed out. Proceeded to call another plumber just to find out all I needed to do was change a filter that I didn’t even know was there!! Water pressure issue solved for a service charge. Highly unprofessional to walk into someone’s house and try to make them spend $8,000 on something that isn’t even the issue. So thankful I listened to my gut and not their “technician/salesman” Brendon. The one thing Spartan has going for them is that they were all very nice to me. Called with an issue involving an outdoor faucet and had water leaking into the basement. Braden O. was dispatched and at my house within 2 hours of the original call.
