A & L Heating & Cooling

My heat went out yesterday. We called A & L and got their answering service who told us the on call technician would call us shortly. It is now more than 16 hours later without so much as a phone call to tell us they’re too busy, taking a night off or whatever. Luckily it wasn’t one of the coldest nights of the year but it was in the mid 20’s and our house was very cold by morning since we did not want to risk a fire hazard with the fireplace or electric heaters overnight. The A & L office is supposed to open at 8 am yet our calls are still answered by the answering service who says this is a constant complaint and problem. A & L has performed decent work in the past but after this experience we are finding a new heat and air contractor.

This place is FANTASTIC! Went to turn my furnace on the first cold day this year and nothing happened. Called A&L and Lacey was able to get me an appointment that day! They gave me an almost exact time they would be at my house so I didn't have to leave work and wait around. I really liked the fact that my technician Bill sent me a picture and text before arriving. When Bill arrived, it was a simple fix and within minutes my house was toasty warm. Everyone was so nice and courteous! It also all cost under $200, which was a great added bonus! Highly recommend! Beat the socks off the competition in comparison shopping. We received 4 quotes from big and local name shops. A & L got us taken care of for the best price and we didn't even have to dip into the savings using their 0% interest for 12 months. Paid it off in 8 months and we're ready for summer. The staff is professional and friendly. Every scheduled appointment was met on time and handled timely. Highly encourage anyone needing a new system to call these guys.
