Verne and Ellsworth Hann are definitely worth checking out. My furnace died, and my AC was very old. Working with Chris was a pleasant and straightforward person to work with. He immediately realized that the unit was too big and to reduce the cost of gas and electricity, he suggested going for a smaller size. I anticipated it would take some time, however they were able to schedule the installation quickly. The installation crew was outstanding, diligent, and professional, arrived on time, communicated well (to me that is a plus). Every time I went to check on their progress during the day, I was amazed by how much they were accomplishing. They would also ask if I had any other questions. VEH recently installed a new HVAC system in my home. From start to finish they were the consummate professionals! It started with Tim Posey who provided the quote for the work to be performed. He was thorough in his details and was willing to work with us to realize the best possible price for the work. He even returned to our home following the installation to answer a few questions we had regarding the unit. The installers, Andrew and Graham were diligent in performing the work and explained what they were doing every step of the way. They completed the work on time and left the basement area very clean! They never slacked off while completing the work. The customer service from Chelsea to Lauri in the accounting department was very responsive to my questions and required documentation for the Dominion energy rebate. I can't say enough about VEH! I recommend them without reservation.

We experienced a broken furnace in January at one of our rental houses. After unsuccessfully trying to get quotes from other companies we called Verne & Ellsworth Hann Inc. They gave us a quote the first day and the entire job was completed within 4 days. The new Bryant furnace that replaced the 70 year old monster that was in there is keeping our tenants nice and warm and cutting down on their heating costs as well.
