We highly recommend Interstate Heating & Air Conditioning Inc!!! When we recently needed to replace our old unit, we got 3 estimates for a new heat and air unit. Interstate was not only the lowest, but also the fastest at getting booked for installation. Kenosie (he walked through for the estimate) determined we needed another return vent for more optimal air flow, since the primary bedroom always runs hotter in the summer. Every employee was very conscientious, friendly and professional, even despite Mario and Jeremiah having to install the indoor portion in our attic on a 90+ degree day. Our house feels so much better. We will be definitely using Interstate for all following tuneups! I got a misdiagnosed fan, I was with the technician and I was with him troubleshooting and the fan was on and he apologized for misdiagnosing it. He didn’t seem to have a clear answer for me and I got charged to help him pour water on my system. He didn’t have a long enough hose so I had to use buckets and help. The compressor and fan kicked on but he was unsure why it overheated and just told me I need a bigger unit due to my square footage and that’s what his diagnosis was, and that’s why he charged me. This unit has cooled this home for a long time with no issues. It’s only 1500 sq ft and the whole neighborhood has a similar unit. I know there’s something faulty but don’t know what. Very friendly tech but not knowledgeable in any way. I lost $95 for helping a HVAC tech troubleshoot all which I could’ve done. I have no clear answer on the way forward to make sure my unit doesn’t overheat. Would not recommend this company unfortunately. Service: HVAC system repair
