Kind, courteous during maintenance work. Very impressed not just with the work, but precautions during the strange time that is covid. The entire crew was wearing appropriate protective respiratory gear, covering nose and mouth the entire time they were on site, even though it was 90 and they were on our metal roof. I had a leak in my roof to the entrance to the garage from the laundry room and called McKenzie Roofing. Within 3 hours, Ron Schafer arrived and diagnosed the problem I needed a new roof vent as the plastic one had split causing water to get into the interior. After talking with Ron, I decided to replace the plastic vents with metal vents, 19 of them. The next day Ron arrived with a helper and they did a fine job replacing the vents prior to the "liquid sunshine" arriving. Both were professional and the area was cleaned up and my roof is now leak free. I would recommend McKenzie Roofing to anyone.

This company was recommended to us so in April 2021 we signed a proposal with them. Every few months, I would take the initiative to check in with them to see how much longer we would need to wait. Steve Schucklebier repeatedly told us in “just a few months” or that we were “5th in line”. Really, he just strung us along for an ENTIRE year because it’s May 2022 and now we’ve found out that he took us off the waitlist. Even with our conversations in writing, he didn’t seem to remember the timeline of events and blew us off. He was unprofessional in his conversations with us, extremely slow to respond, and lacked the integrity to be honest with us. Possibly one of the most forgetful and disorganized contractors we’ve worked with in years. Do not use these guys. They aren’t trustworthy and are completely dishonest. While waiting for them as they pacified us with excuses, prices went up and we didn’t use one of their competitors. I can see why they drag people along. Updated: I did put my r
