Gladly recommend Apgar. The entire team was friendly and professional. Had a new furnace installed and from start to finish they satisfied my high standards . Apgar isn’t the cheapest but the job is done right . I highly recommend this company .
Apgar Oil has been servicing my home for years. The servicemen and delivery men have always been dependable, professional, and always exhibit a high degree of knowledge. Today, with temperatures in the mid-thirties, my furnace broke. An emergency phone call was made and Apgar Oil exceeded my highest expectations. Within an hour of that phone call the technician arrived at my house, diagnosed the problem, replaced the broken part, and got my furnace up and running. The house didn't even have time to get cold. That is above and beyond great service and I am extremely grateful.
Apgar charged us at least $1/gal more than other local places on our latest fill. This was on top of an extra charge for getting less than 100 gallons, whixh I was happy to pay. They also didn't apply the credit we had when we purchased oil. Shop around. I was also never provided a receipt for my oil fills, despite asking several times. Maybe they went to the landlord, but I paid for the oil. I only got a receipt last time because I went in and ordered the oil in person. But it didn't state how many gallons or the price per gallon. I only knew because I asked the price per gallon, $4.399. This is in May of 2023, that's peak prices from last winter, every where else prices are at least $1 less. Plus, when they replaced our tank in July it leaked and they kept saying it was just residual oil from the tank replacement. The overwhelming smell of oil throughout the house was making me sick. They put desiccant down several times before finally fixing the leak they caused. We had to clean up
