Response to the owner. No. Your policy is to charge a fee to come out and get people on the hook. My simple ask was what would the cost be to install two toilets if everything went smoothly. That’s a job you have priced and could have provided on the phone. In my case you would have seen two older easily accessible toilets with no apparent problem. Then you could estimate it with 89 bucks in your pocket. No reasonable person would hold you to that price if when the toilets were removed there was structural damage. Cmon, at least be honest with people. Got to say beware of their practice of unwillingness to give you a ballpark price on any work without coming out to see it for a fee. In other reviews Schuler responded they don’t charge by the hour but by the task/job. So I have no idea why when I called for a ballpark price on two toilet installs with everything going absolutely smoothly they still refused to give me a ballpark cost without coming out for a fee. I have a mystery leak in my basement. No water on the wall. None of the pipes show any sign of moisture. Not one hint of where the water could have possibly come from. Every once in a while I come down into the “shop” in the basement for some kind of tool for a project. WHAT?? Again I found that the vinyl floor covering in that area had quite a bit of water about 6‘ x 3‘ puddle to clean up, just on the south wall. That’s when I called the best plumbing Co in the area. Jason from Schuler came and did everything imaginable to figure out where the water came in. It was obvious that it happened before because the vinyl floor was still all curled up on the edge from the last water leak, which was probably 6weeks ago, (propped up so it could dry.) Jason was magnificent. He did every kind of search possible to find the source and we came up empty-handed after over an hour search with pipes and the stairwell the outside door, and it is still a mystery.
