Avoid this company at all cost! I have had the same horrible experience twice now. They take two weeks to come out (that is a long time when you have a leak.) On both occasions the quality of the work was so poor that they had to come out a second time. They aren't above charging you hundreds of dollars every time they come out -even when it is to rectify a job that wasn't done properly the first time. Currently I have a significant leak that I have paid Welte to fix twice, but to no avail. Bottom line: Bad service, horrible quality, no commitment to customers. Find a company with better values.

We have used Welte roofing for the past 20+ yrs on all our roofing issues on our 100+ year old large house. They have done an outstanding job every time. They come quickly, take photos to show you the issue before they start the work, I have never needed them to come back to re-repair a part of the roof they had previoulsy fixed. The only downside is that they are a bit expensive...but you do get what you pay for with them. ADDENDUM: I had Welte come out for another repair on my roof (it is a very old home) after I had gotten a quote from Erie Construction. Erie told me I needed a whole new roof and it would cost $27K. Welte then came out and said my roof was in perfect condition and the issue was the dormer windows above the roof – the wood was rotten and rain water was leaking in through the windows and wall down to the room below. This made a lot more sense with the fact that when it rained, it would often not start leaking until 2 -3 hrs into the rain. I am not sure why Welte has

When I told them what I was looking for, the person answering the phone said, "well we currently have a four month lead time and it will be $200/hr to look for any issues and then it will also be $200/hr for any actual work." This place doesn't deserve anyone's business with such a blatant lack of customer empathy. Edit for response from the owner: I could have waited, but it's not worth the wait when it's obvious you don't care about new customers. You choose to filter them out by throwing out exorbitant prices before even listening to what they're asking you for. I wouldn't trust you to do a good job based on that alone.
