Tom's Plumbing & Heating

I used to use this company all the time for plumbing needs. I have at least 3 receipts from prior years work... although I may have used them more than 3 times. Anyhow, I called and left TWO voicemails for them, never heard back. So they are off my call list when I have a plumbing issue. Don't know what happened to this company, they used to be good. Oh well, I ended up using a different company. The new company is now my "go to" people when I need a plumber.

I called to have my sump pump looked at. I told Tom that is wasn’t an emergency visit. Tom sent his employer ( whom was very nice). It turn out he was there about 20 minutes the float on the pump was getting stuck. I was charged $125. 00 for that service call, which I thought was extremely high for not really doing anything and not being an emergency call. He told me to call if it acted up again which, I did the very next day. Tom did return my phone call and said oh yeah we can take care of that. I inquired how much he thought it would be snd he said he would get back to me with a quote which he never did. I would not recommend using him if you want a fair price and or a job done.

Said he had to come out to give me a price quote. Came out to the house, tells me he can't give me a price quote without smashing open my wall. Then tried to charge me $150 for the service call. Get lost!
