Gilstrap Roofing

Gilstrap came out for an estimate for my aunt's roof. I called them right afterwards to give them my email address so they could send the estimate to me. After a week I called them back because I had never received the estimate. They told me the roof could not be repaired, only replaced. I told them we knew that. They were supposed to give us a quote to replace. She said they would send me the estimate. After over a week never received anything. I guess they don't want our business. This was going to be cash, no insurance. After posting this review I received a call from Brian. He had been out due to a death in his family. He sincerely apologized for taking so long. We experienced a hail storm this past summer. We retained Gilstrap Roofing to repair the wind and hail damage. We cannot say enough great things about Brian, Chase, Marcos and the entire Gilstrap Roofing team. From beginning to completion, the work was done in a highly professional and efficient manner. Even when our insurance company pushed back, Gilstrap was persistent in their detailed documentation which clearly proved the roof required a total replacement. The roofing crew performed nothing short of a miracle by completing the entire tear off and replacement in TWO DAYS!! This is a very steep roof on a custom-built home with multiple angles, pitches, valleys, etc. And the crew was battling the weather---only two days of sunshine before a front was moving in bringing lots of rain. Gilstrap Roofing recently installed a beautiful new roof on my home. The office staff, Jessica and Holly, were so helpful. Salesman Jr. De Pina was great with whom to work, and was very patient in answering all my questions. Production Mgr., Marcos Gonzalez supervised and inspected each step of the process and was always available. I was amazed with the outstanding site cleanup…couldn’t find a lost nail anywhere after they left. Have already referred them to a friend. Good job!
