This all started with Fogel installing our compressor (outside AC unit) improperly. There are 2 power cables that power the unit. One of the lines was not properly secured, and this created an arc and fried all the wiring in the compressor, and later, we found out it also fried a part in the unit in the attic. I called the electrician, thinking it was electrical. Turns out it wasn't. So then I use the so-called emergency number under the sink, which is more of an answering service. Once you're connected, they inform you that someone will reach out to you within 24 hours. This all occurred on a Thursday (29 june 23). The next day came, and there was no call. When I called to inquire, I was told again that someone would reach out within 24 hours. As expected, no call or any other form of communication. By this point, it is 2 days of low 90s upstairs and 88 downstairs, with averaging 75-77% humidity. I was finally called on Monday, 3 July, and was told they had to order a part which would

Every home in the Ponds was installed by Fogel with an underpowered unit. Fogel came out multiple times to our home to say it’s fine when we finally found someone else. Fogel was the original installer of the unit so of course they’re not going to talk ill of their own work. Our new HVAC company said that our unit is too small for our house which makes sense because half of our house is on average 4* hotter than the rest of the house. Fogel’s fix? Get an additional unit to help….which makes no sense if they would have just installed a bigger unit.

Their ability to manage parts and repairs is poor. It takes a week for part but still another week to get it installed. I felt trapped to accept the installation appointment. The person on the -hone seemed to be unfazed by the time for the repair to take place. I have been without air conditioner for more than 27 days and I am a cash customer.
