I am editing my review after a much better conversation with I believe the site manager in Charleston. Long story short my original conversation was answered by a woman who is most likely new and wasn’t able to help my issue but after getting a number of someone who was more understanding of my issue I was able to get my problem resolved and have an appointment scheduled for this week for my problems to be fixed. NEVER LET THIS COMPANY DO ANY ELECTRICAL WORK IN YOUR HOME!!!! We bought a brand new home and hooked up our old washer and dryer. The dryer (which is older) would not work when we hooked it up. We figured since the dryer was older that it was the dryer! We ended up spending $1500 on a new washer and dryer. Only to find out the new dryer didn't work. We had a repair man out to take a look at the dryer, only to tell us the electric company incorrectly wired the outlet. Thanks Palmetto Electric! This has been quite the ordeal! Did i mention I closed on my house back in September?!

I called 3 times just to get the initial appointment. I decided to go with Palmetto because they wired my new house hired by the builder. After finally getting someone to come out, the tech didn't know what kind of plug I wanted when I told him what it was and showed him a picture for a 240v outlet with locking plug. I also wanted a small power meter installed and he had no idea how to do it. He said he would have to reschedule and someone would get back with me to follow up. Nobody ever called me back so I called Mister Sparky and they took care of it next day on the same day the tech arrived within an hour. So overall, the tech was not knowledgeable and the appointment scheduler failed to get back with me so no service was done.
