We were first contacted by Joe Thompson, the sales person. He did an inspection and said the entire roof needed replacing. It was over 20years old. He was very clear to inform us of our options. He was not hard sell at all. He was patient and answered all our questions. Next Doug Stroh the owner came and finalized the deal and made it very clear what their responsibilities and our responsibilities were. His wife Tiffany called us with the scheduled date of install and they all made it clear what would happen and when it would happen. The crew arrived on time and did a great job of installing the roof and then cleaning up the area after it was over. Doug's Daughter Shelby and wife Tiffany kept us in formed of the state of the invoice. We had some problems dealing with our insurance. Looking for roofing recommendations online this spring we came across Gold Medal Roofing. After getting several estimates we met with Nazar Pugach from Gold Medal and decided this is the company we choose to replace our roof. Nazar stood out from the others, he’s very professional, listened to our concerns and was very personable. We had to delay our start date while waiting for our fireplace to be installed and Nazar maintained communications during this process. Several days before our scheduled date to have our roof replace Nazar and Michelle let us know what would be taking place. The day before the dumpster and material were delivered and both companies were professional and placed the items where we requested. The day of install Cody and crew showed up on time and went right to work. Cody confirmed with us all the details prep, tear off, underlayment and shingle application that was to take place. Jacob P stopped by after noticing my roof had taken some damage during a recent storm. He offered to do a free inspection on the spot and found the damage to be fairly light. He offered to do a quick repair just a few days later and for a very affordable price. He didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need or push me into more expensive repairs that he didn’t believe insurance would cover. He even offered to come by a couple times a year to do a quick check and see how my roof is holding up.
