I rarely write reviews but as Doug is such a rare commodity in the home services industry I felt compelled to do so. He is everything you could hope for in a contractor and so much more; his professionalism and honesty are beyond reproach. I have a rental property in New Braunfels that needed immediate repairs and Doug said that he would do everything possible to fit the service call in the very same day. The tenant was responsible for calling Doug to set the appointment time, but I received a text from Doug late that afternoon that he still had not been contacted. I had no prior relationship with Doug, but he took the responsibility on his own shoulders to keep me apprised of the situation with the tenant. You will not find many tradesmen today who would go out of their way for someone who is not yet a customer. Doug is an honest/outstanding handyman! My husband communicated with him about replacing our front door and he responded timely. He did great job replacing and adjusting the door until it operated to satisfaction. He is very detail oriented, didn't rush the job and charged a reasonable price. He even came out to check a water heater issue that suddenly popped up. We have already asked him to give us a quote on repairing some house skirting and extending our front porch overhang. I reached out to Doug and he was very responsive. He showed up right when he said he would, and that was great! He was able to quickly figure out what caused the problem and how to fix it. He was polite, helpful, and cleaned up before leaving. Needing a handyman is something you hope won’t happen but Doug was so great that should anything come up again he will be the first person we call. Services: Repair water fixtures, General repairs
