My AC unit went out a couple of days ago. My coworker referred me to Doctor Cool saying he had an amazing experience with them so I asked to get a bid. With this heat wave, I was super thankful someone was able to come out in only a matter of hours to give a second opinion on if the unit was repairable (something he didn't have to do) and provide an estimate on a new system. Brandon B. was very professional, kind and genuinely wanted to walk me through the replacement process for HVAC. I would definitely recommend this company to others in need of HVAC services.
We had a technician come out to do our introductory maintenance and had mentioned that we were experiencing high humidity; we thought maybe our coils were dirty or the pervious owners had never done maintenance and so that would solve our issue. (We had just had the blower replaced.) Well, they sent their technician out, and he performed the maintenance, but then also offered to fix our wiring and dampers for an extra $100 added to the bill. He told me he was a "senior tech" and could help. I agreed to the extra charge, and for this extra $100 all he did was turn off the supply to our loft upstairs COMPLETELY and left saying the upstairs thermostat wasn't communicating and to check with my warranty to see what it covered and to call him back. Well, what he caused was a complete disaster. In cutting off our supply, he caused a severe negative pressure issue in our home which caused our linen closet to become SOAKED (we found a small hole in the ceiling-not his fault-but this negative pr
The technician was extremely nice, professional, and I believe thorough. He presented me with all my options. Unfortunately, the quote was more than I could afford but otherwise, I have no issues with this business and I have used them before. Their work seems to be high quality and their response time is excellent, if you are not too fussy about the price point, and what you are going for is prompt, professional, reliable service then this is the company for you.
