Wes came out and fixed the AC problem at my mom's in 30 minutes. He gave us an honest assessment of the 18 year old unit and some options moving forward for future work that may be needed. We have used Southern Comfort twice now and both times the techs are honest and trustworthy - I never get the feeling they are trying to sell me more than I need. I'll use them for all future work! We were so pleased with the new Trane AC / furnace we got for our downstairs, that we immediately called them when we needed a new AC /furnace for our upstairs. We are new here so when I realized the ac wasn't cooling as it should I checked the outdoor unit and found information from the manufacturer showing the unit to be 10 years old. Not knowing who has been servicing this equipment I called Southern Comfort Mechanical because a tag on the outdoor unit made me think they had likely installed it when the house was built. The very next day their serviceman arrived to diagnose the problem. Two business days later the new unit was installed. A breaker in the electrical box was too small and they were able to replace it with the correct size. Their guys answered all my questions and even showed me how to use the "smart house" panel to control my ac. Great service!
