Advantage AC & Refrigeration

I have American Home Sheild and my AC blower would not turn off. Technician replaced the fan motor. He said all is working well. Twenty minutes after he left the unit was making a very bad nose and would not cut off. The fan motor that he replaced was very hot and smelled like hot plastic. I tried calling the company but no luck. Had American Home Sheild call them and technician came back out. Now the motor he replaced burnt out and now the compressor burnt out. Waited 4 days for the compressor and motor to be replaced. When service man came out to finish he then find out that there was something wrong with the fan blade and would need to be replaced. Took them 4 days and I get a call that service man was on his way. Then I get a call that no it was not the right part and will have to wait another day. During this whole ordeal I was told by the office girl that they are doing all that they can do to get it fixed. Spoke to the owner and he told me that I just need to be patien

David, representative/supervisor/scheduler, was a no show for an appointment on 4/9/21 which was scheduled on 4/7/21 by American Home Shield. I was checking AHS website periodically throughout the day to check status of my request. I also called Advantage Air Conditioning and Refrigeration several times. There was no answer and went straight to David’s voicemail. Around 4pm I called AHS when I saw the work order changed to completed. Yes I was on AHS website and saw it changed!! I spoke to 2 different representatives and not receiving satisfaction from them demanded to speak to a supervisor. A supervisor is supposed to call me by 9pm tonight and will post an update. While on the phone with AHS their website changed again on my work order to “unable to reach you - please contact contractor”. I couldn’t believe it!!! I have always had great service from Advantage Air. They are very professional and respond in a timely manner. I haven't had air for over a month because my home warranty had not been able to find any one to service my area( I don't believe that). I kept telling them call Advantage Air!!! They finally assigned to them and Advantage Air fit me into their schedule knowing that I had been without here for such a long time. They came out late on a Friday night(battling sworms of mosquitoes). They replaced a capacitor and put in a new thermostat. There was no power going in to the handler so my home warranty assigned an electrician to come and repair.I notified AdvantagebAir as soon as the electrician fixed the problem. Advantage air again fit me into their schedule and once again they came out on a Friday evening. They cleaned the entire unit inside and out, replaced a transformer and got myamy going. They were very neat and made sure they cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Ad
