First Service was established in 1952. L.J. Jeter, the founder, opened the first office in Big Spring, Texas. Mr. Jeter operated the company as Jeter Sheetmetal, Inc. until 1984 when David Grosse purchased the company. Soon after the purchase, the name was changed to First Service Air Conditioning Contractors, Inc. In 1986, the company moved its office to Midland, Texas. The name First Service was selected to show our commitment to service. We have continued to grow each year by maintaining this commitment. First Service is recognized as an industrial leader in West Texas. At our customer’s request, we have provided service and installations throughout Texas, Alaska, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico and Kansas.

The gentleman that came out were prompt and professional. They completed the job thoroughly and answered all my questions. JJ was my technician, and Patrick, the executive, they both worked with me in the best and most accommodating ways. This company treated me so kindly and worked to meet my needs, repair my AC at an affordable price, worked with me through various issues, resolved them all to perfection. If there were 10 stars to give, I would give them an 11. I recommend their service to anyone in the Permian basin. The owner called me personally and solved all issues on my behalf.
Great experience! From scheduling with Yvonne she was very helpful, caring and helped get a tech scheduled ASAP the same day I called. Techs were super helpful and knowledgeable, explained what he had planned to get it fixed and got it fixed in timely and efficient manner. Received a follow up call from Sophia and she was super kind and sweet and made sure all my needs were taken care of.
