We like Luke very much as well as the other tech that came out, They were prompt, professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable. But then we have the cold hard results of their service call. Luke was called out when our new system kept shutting down. Luke checked the voltage at the system and reset it, which seemed to fix the problem. But the system shut down the very next day. The second tech pulled the cover off the compressor unit and found that the system had bled out most of the refrigerant and was operating at a 20% capacity. He then traced the leak to the threaded cap on a thermal expansion valve that On The Way provided when they hooked up the system. The cap on the bottom was so loose that it took a full turn to stop the system leak. He then needed to add in excess of 6 pounds of refrigeerant at over $100 per pound. The system worked fine for less than 12 hours and then shut down again. The tech came out and found that there was an error code showing on the com
